Endless Learning Empowers Development -- Establishment of Jibang College and Launching of Guanggong Jiban Metal Materials Class

People are diligent, and spring comes early. On March 2, 2024, in early spring, the company's long planned construction of Jibang College was officially launched. More than 70 people participated in the launch ceremony, including Group Chairman Cai Jihui, Deputy General Manager Zhu Jihan, General Assistant Yi Xin, Director General of each center, Department Manager, Metal Materials Class students, Lean Production Consultant Cheng Zhibin, and Counselor Yang Kaishu.

The establishment and construction of Jibang College is a significant measure for the group to establish a learning organization and promote talent cultivation strategy; It is also an important milestone in the development process of Jibang Precision. At the launch ceremony, the company's general assistant Yi Xin elaborated and interpreted the purpose and future development plan, organizational structure, and training system framework of Jibang College. In the future, Jibang College will enhance the professional skills and management abilities of personnel in different grades and levels of the group through the planning and construction of six university systems, including marketing, leadership, research and development technology, production technology, quality engineering, and production management, empowering the rapid development of the group.

In the early stage of its establishment, the college first aimed to improve the professional skills urgently needed for the company's development, and cooperated with Guangdong University of Technology to establish a special training course on "Principles of Metal Materials", systematically improving the professional knowledge and cognitive level of relevant personnel in the company, hoping to cultivate a group of professional talents with both theoretical foundation and practical level.

This special training class was taught by Dr. Dong Yong from the School of Materials and Energy, Guangdong University of Technology. Dr. Dong Yong gave a detailed introduction to the principles of metal materials and the teaching plan and objectives of the special training class on metal materials and heat treatment at the launch ceremony. I hope that through special training courses, relevant personnel of the company can systematically understand and master the basic knowledge of metal materials, as well as professional knowledge such as the organization, performance characteristics, and application of metal materials after heat treatment; Knowledge of developing reasonable production processes based on material composition and performance requirements.

Subsequently, Lean Consultant Professor Cheng Zhibin emphasized that personal learning should follow the logical relationship of theory practice re practice. Through his own participation in lean improvement projects, he gained insights on the importance of practice in understanding theory. He hoped that Jibang College would adhere to the development strategy of combining theory and practice in its development.

Professor Yang Kaishu from the Consulting Team elaborated on the importance of learning willingness and methods from three aspects: cognition, behavior, and attitude. He emphasized that the main reason for the gap between people is due to cognitive factors, and many cognitive changes require continuous and repeated learning, which is exactly what Jibang College can provide.

Vice General Manager of the Group, Zhu Jihan, elaborated on the important goals of Jibang College in empowering the development of the group at the ceremony. Firstly, the IPO requires the company's educational qualifications. Jibang College can provide various types of training and education to help the company improve its academic qualifications while working; Secondly, Jibang College helps to solve the problem of rich practical experience and insufficient systematic theory among management and technical personnel at all levels, such as the metal materials course provided by Guanggong; Once again, Jibang College is also a knowledge sharing platform that can provide a place for all personnel to learn from each other.
